is a Haitian American author and former elementary school teacher based in Central Florida. She debuted with Haitian Flag Day Fleurina’s Way and is continually crafting new titles. Jinica’s love for reading and storytelling began in childhood, which led her to a lifelong passion for education. As a mother, she wanted her children to appreciate global cultures, including their Haitian heritage. Struggling to find children’s books on Haitian culture, Jinica decided to write her own, aiming to share and celebrate Haitian culture with young readers everywhere!
